As the plastics industry increasingly focuses on green production and environmental responsibility, PolyFill Joint Stock Company continues to affirm its sustainable development orientation by investing in, operating, and controlling production activities in line with environmental protection requirements.
On June 16, PolyFill Joint Stock Company was officially granted approval by the Hai Phong People’s Committee to implement the Filler Masterbatch and Compound production project. The project has a designed capacity of 300,000 tons per year, including 270,000 tons of Filler Masterbatch and 30,000 tons of Compound. It uses virgin plastic resin, calcium carbonate powder, and additives as production materials, without using recycled scrap.
During production, PolyFill focuses on controlling environmental factors arising from each stage. Domestic wastewater is collected and treated before being connected to the centralized wastewater treatment system of the industrial park. Cooling water used in production is circulated and reused, helping save water resources and reduce emissions.
In addition, dust, exhaust gases, and odors generated from material feeding, mixing, and heating stages are collected and treated using appropriate systems such as fabric bag filters, dust separation towers, mist separators, and activated carbon adsorption. Solid waste, domestic waste, and hazardous waste are also classified, stored, and transferred to licensed units for treatment in accordance with regulations.
Beyond complying with legal requirements, PolyFill also aims to minimize waste by improving production efficiency, using resources reasonably, and maintaining a stable operating system.
With a modern production foundation and a strong sense of environmental responsibility, PolyFill is gradually accompanying the sustainable development of the plastics industry, moving toward safe, efficient, and long-term growth.
